A great way to increase personal qualities of knowledge, self control, godliness and brotherly affection in an individual’s life, is through periodic meetings of groups of men who study the Bible together, learn more about the Bible together, and pray for each other. All of this is offered in our Thursday morning sessions with the Minor Prophets being the “vehicle” for the fall of 2022.

Overview: Reading, studying, learning about all 12 Minor Prophet books in three months is comparable to taking an “Old Testament Survey” class in college, but with a much shorter list of books. Men who have trouble reading this area of the Bible will leave the class with a high appreciation for the historical, geographical, and cultural contexts for the period in which these books were written, and also may in fact leave with a better way of applying the lessons in these books to today’s political and societal problems.

Bible books to be studied: All 12 Minor Prophets (Hosea through Malachi)

Time: Thursday mornings, 6:30 A.M – 7:45 A.M.

Dates: Thursday, September 15 through Thursday, December 8 (12 meetings, not meeting over Thanksgiving week)

Lead Teacher: Wayne Pirmann

Text: ESV recommended, ESV Archaeology Study Bible recommended; Self-Control by Wayne Pirmann will be given as a gift to all attendees.

Please contact Wayne Pirmann if you are interested in taking this class.  This is an open-class and can be joined at any time.
